Reflections on Netbook.

What I like about having a Netbook is we don’t need to use a book and a pencil and it is also easy to look up for information and more quicker as well and we also have 6 computers in our class and when we need them we have to share but since we got Netbooks it saved our lifes.

When we had a meeting to take our Netbook’s home we were all so excited and when I took mine home my family wanted to play on it but I said no and I said that my muum was the ony one that is allowed to play on it, and when my dad asked me to give him a turn I you have to ask nicely so he did and I gave him a turn on it and he was so happy.

After that when my dad was finished he gave it back flat so I had to charge my Netbook and  when it was morning we had to bring it back to school and so we can put all our work into it and when school always finishes we had to take them home and you know what I was a new student that day I got my Netbook.

I am so happy we have Netbooks at Pt England School and also Pt England School was the first school to get Netbooks and I am so happy we got netbooks and a well thanks to Neven and Mrs Burt.

The Global Community

(1)Learning about people in the global community is important because Rugby World Cup will bring different countries from the global community. What I like about the different teams are their uniforms, national anthems, the different foods and other stuff. The nations I like are all twenty of them and they are Australia, Georgia, South Africa, Canada, USA, England, Japan, Wales, Argentina, Russia, France, Romania, Samoa, Fiji, Scotland, Italy, Namibia, Tonga and also New Zealand. I also like the haka and the different hair styles.

Have you ever played badminton? Well I have and it is so cool.

Last Thursday year 7 & 8 students went to the hall for badminton with Laureen. Laureen came from the Auckland Badminton Club.

The first activity we did was we had to try to control the shuttle with the badminton racket. We also had to collect five shuttles at a time. It was very tricky trying to serve it into the bin.

But the activity I like the most was the one you hit under your legs and also when you close your eyes and hit it.

Awhina and I were partners for another activity that was catching the shuttle in the cone.

How I felt about all those section at badminton was I felt so happy and it was also cool. I had a very great time.

INTRODUCTION To Prototype

I was exactly going to use wood for my sign but if did my writing out of paint the paint will come out smudged and it will also become runny and that’s why I changed my mind and wanted to make it out of plastic.

Bin it is a positive message because if people just throw there rubbish on the ground then that is what you call littering and if people throw there rubbish in the then that’s what call bin it.

Bin it is easy to understand because bin it has only have
two words that’s is understandable for little kids to read. I will also change my sing and put sponge bob on it with him chucking his rubbish into the bin.

I think it’s not very practical because I might not be able to get the material I want or it might be practical if I get the material I really wanted.

I think it suitable for my sign to be near the gate’s so that people see it when they walk in the school gate
and when they also walk out the gate.

science roadshow

On Thursday 9th of June we went down to Tamiki Collage to go for
the science roadshow and our leader's name was Awhina and the people in her group was Ngaina,
Junior,Tui and me.

When we got there we had to go and sit down on chairs and they were chemicals and I like the part
that was the one they put the lotto paper in the chemical and then when they burnt it
it dried up and they did another one and that one made a hole in that plastic glass.

My favourite exhibit was the one that had the skeleton because when you on the light
the skeleton is there but when you of the light the skeleton escapes and that’s why I like
that exhibit.

How I felt about the science show was I felt very happy and I also felt
excited and I liked it when Awhina got the little prize and when Victoria
and Miracle were the volunteers for our class.

The people that weren’t swimming had to do lines and they weren’t happy with it because they had to do it until the swimmers were finished then they had to stop doing lines.

I felt happy of myself because I was lucky I didn’t have to do line

Our Friday Picnic

In the morning we had to check if everyone had their hats on and if there were people with no hats they couldn't play.

After checking, we had to go to the hall to listen to Mr Burt. We had to listen to the two students who went up and said the pray for the earthquake that happened in Christchurch.

Long after that we had to walk down to the Pt England reserve near the beach.

While getting there we had to listen to Mr Burt talking . We also had to listen to hear what time we had to go for our swim in the sea.

While listening we had to walk to our spot where it was shady and windy.

A while later we started singing songs with Ms Tito then we started to eat our lunch.

After eating our lunch we went to play all kinds of games like softball and volleyball.

After that it was our time to swim, after that we had to get changed and go and pack our stuff to get ready to go to school. At last we got to go home for a long good night sleep.

I Had Lost of FUN...

KiaOrana, My name is Ngametua and i go to Pt England school and i got a very special teacher and her name is Ms Tito. She is the coolest teacher i ever had and i am also having fun at school. My favourite food is chop suey with rice and i sometimes eat fish. I have 6 favourite colours and they are green blue red yellow pink and purple. I have 7 people in my family.
